This Privacy Notice for Four-Eyes, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:
Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. We are responsible for making decisions about how your personal information is processed. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
This summary provides key points from our Privacy Notice — see the full sections below for details on any of these topics.
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. We do not process sensitive information. All personal information you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to it.
Information automatically collected when you visit our website. When you visit four-eyes.io, limited information — such as your browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, approximate (coarse) location, and information about how and when you use the website — is collected automatically through our analytics provider, Google Analytics 4 (see "Google Analytics" below). Google Analytics 4 uses your IP address only transiently to derive approximate location and does not log or store your full IP address. This information does not reveal your specific identity and is used to understand usage and maintain the security and operation of the website. We do not operate our own servers that collect this information. Automatically collected website information may include:
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
We may also process your information for other purposes only with your prior explicit consent.
We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law.
If you are located in the EU or UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR require us to rely on one of the following legal bases:
If you are located in Canada, we may process your information with your express or implied consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or in certain exceptional cases permitted by law without consent — for example, for fraud detection and prevention, in connection with a business transaction, to comply with a subpoena or court order, or where the information is publicly available.
We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some of these help maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and support basic site functions.
We also permit our analytics provider to use tracking technologies on our website for analytics and reporting. We do not use tracking technologies for advertising. To the extent our use of analytics is deemed a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable US state laws, you can opt out as described in Do United States residents have specific privacy rights? below.
Google Analytics. We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyze use of the Services. You can opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across the Services at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and of Google Analytics Advertising Features through Ads Settings. For more on Google's privacy practices, see the Google Privacy & Terms page.
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we delete or anonymize it, or, if that isn't possible, securely isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage method can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk; you should only access the Services within a secure environment.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to children under 18 years of age (or the equivalent age as specified by law in your jurisdiction), nor do we knowingly sell such information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor consenting to their use of the Services. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data. If you become aware of any such data, contact us.
Depending on your state of residence in the US, or in regions like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada, you have rights that give you greater access to and control over your personal information, including the right to request access to and a copy of your information, request correction or deletion, restrict processing, request data portability, and not be subject to solely automated decision-making. You may exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in How can you contact us about this notice? below.
If you are located in the UK and are unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, you can complain directly to us, or to the Information Commissioner's Office:
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your Member State data protection authority or the UK data protection authority. If you are in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Withdrawing your consent. If we rely on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us using the details in How can you contact us about this notice? below. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Opting out of marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages necessary for account administration or in response to service requests.
Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. Because there is not yet a uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this Privacy Notice accordingly.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete the personal information we maintain about you, and to withdraw consent to our processing of it. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law.
